Materials
1 270m/300yd 100g/3.5oz Skein Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend Colour 2444
3.25mm (US 3) OR 3.5mm (US 4) OR 3.75mm (US 5) x 30cm circular needle, depending on size making.
1 stitch holder or safety pin
1 stitch marker.
Gauge 28 sts and 40 rows to 4in”/10cm on 3.5mm (US 4) needles in stocking stitch
Size
Small (approx 8.5cm/3.35” across palm), use 3.25mm (US 3) Medium, (approx 9.5cm/3.75” across palm) use 3.5mm (US 4) needles. Large (approx 11cm/4.3” across palm) use 3.75mm (US 5) needles. Note there is a lot of stretch in the gloves!
Abbreviations
k - Knit
p - Purl
yo - Yarn over needle - bring yarn to the front of work as if to purl the next stitch, then knit into next stitch creating an extra “stitch” by the yarn going over the needle
k2tog - Knit next two stitches together
p3tog - Purl next 3 stitches together
